start a class with one student but I will have no more than 5
students for any class that I teach.
Practice: during the training, you will be given ample time to practice what you have learned and to receive free treatments.
For additional practice, we highly recommend that you join us (totally free of charge) at the elderly homes, hospitals, rehab center and cancer hostel where we donate every month 11 days of free treatments.
For full day charity treatments, we will provide lunch (free of charge) but we require your advance confirmation to enable us to organise transport, chairs, etc...
There are 4 consecutive Reiki courses,
which can only be taught by a Reiki Master.

We will also teach you one symbol to call on this great healing power (like clicking an icon on your computer to start a new program)
This course takes two days and is immediately followed by the Reiki-2 level.
The course fee includes the Training Manual, the Certificate, free treatment(s), refreshments and lunch.
Reiki 2 : this level allows a more comprehensive use of Reiki to further the mental, emotional and spiritual healing processes of patients.

which involves a non-manipulative spinal alignment treatment.
We teach this course during the same week as the Reiki-1.
The course fee includes the Training Manual, the Certificate, free treatment(s), refreshments and lunch.
Note: Reiki 1 and 2 are taught together during an intensive 6 day training which includes several practice days to help you build up your confidence.

other, so each student receives many attunements.
Our Training Manual will give you detailed steps for giving all
While the contents of this class will allow anyone to pass Reiki
on to others and to teach, many students actually take this training
for their own use with family and friends.
This Master-Teacher Training will take at least 7 days but I prefer
to spread this training over several weeks, thereby allowing the
student to get used to these new energies and to provide ample
time for further practice. I usually give this training in very

What Reiki does
is giving you a deep relaxation and well being
which will re-start your own self-healing powers.
Oral Tradition is the energetic transfer
from Teacher to student through direct contact and presence of
the REIKI Master. We do not teach Reiki via internet (which would
technically be possible) because we believe that this direct hands-on
transmission is important.
This energetic transfer happens through teaching the form of treatments,
initiations, passing on the principles, telling the history, answering
questions, and truly being with the students in the class. In
this way, the Reiki Master communicates the essence and the integrity
of the System.

Bio-Energetic Therapy (ABET) Classes
scientific treatment is a combination of several oriental holistic
healing techniques that are all non-invasive and require no machines
for diagnoses and no drugs or herbs for treatment.
These techniques take at least two months to learn. They combine
the following alternative healing systems:
Acupoints for Gallbladder
- Traditional Chinese Medicine arts of Acupuncture from China
that include Diagnostic, Meridian and Moxibustion techniques
(which treat and prevent diseases by applying heat to acupoints
or other locations of the body);
- Bi-Digital O-Ring Test, Magnet and Piezo therapy from Japan;
- Healing Breathing from Tibet.
- Learn more about Asian Bio-Energetics here.
we offer total educational flexibility.
Full teaching and practice time takes about 2 months depending
on the students' dilligence and performance.
Our selection criteria for the students are:
an open mind and a big heart. The final decision to accept
or refuse a student's application, will be ours. In case of our
refusal before the beginning of the course, your downpayment will
be fully reimbursed.
Classes last about 3 to 4 hours per day
and comprise 4 levels of about 120 intensive
hours (depending on the student’s diligence
and absorption capabilities)
Class requirements: I am willing to
start a class with one student but I will have no more than 5
students for any class that I teach.
Practice: Courses are both educational and practical with about 30 hours of clinical practice During the training, you will be given ample time to practice what you have learned and to receive free treatment(s).
You will have additional practice sessions at the elderly homes, hospitals and rehab centers where we donate every week at least one day for charity treatments. These observation and clinical practice hours will be included in your Certificate.
The ABET trainings are given only twice a year over a period of approx. 2 months.
This is a tough training but also very rewarding.
It will help you to diagnose health problems in yourself and others
and make the appropriate recommendations for minor life style change
to achieve major life quality improvements.
For best results, a course should be preceded (and followed) by a period of Bio-Energetic treatment observations.
We recommend strongly that you do not to take any other classes at the same time, because our classes are very intensive and you will need time to study and assimilate the information.
We give out notes of the more difficult lessons and of course a Certificate upon completion. You can bring a tape recorder if you feel more comfortable with it. Usually, we teach 5 days a week.
For a more detailed Course Syllabus, please click here.
The selection criteria for the students are: an open mind and a big heart because not just everyone can learn this healing technique.
I personally had to observe Dr Than Van Le during 3 months of practice because I was obviously not ready at that time (smile)..
Classes last about 3 to 4 hours per day and comprise 4 levels of about 30 intensive hours each.
If some days last longer, we will provide free lunch.
This training also includes some video teachings by Dr Le himself and another 30 hours of practice, which are a vital part of it.
Usually, we teach in the mornings 3 to 4 hours a day, 6 days a week thereby allowing you enough time to study.
The complete training take 6 WEEKS, or a lifetime, depending on how you look at it.
You will often receive free diagnostics and free treatments depending on your body's needs and our availability.
If you ask many questions during the training, there will be less time for free treatments afterwards.
We do however, provide question time at the start and end of each day.
About half-way thru the course, we will give you a longer weekend of 2 or 3 days.
The duration will depend on your dilligence and understanding.
If you study well, we can keep our schedule and give you a long weekend to relax.
Generally speaking, ABET training is a challenge on the educational, physical, emotional and spiritual level but the results are most wonderful… (smile) and they will change your life for ever!
You will first learn how to take care of yourself and activate your own healing powers. After that, you will learn how to take care of others.
When I discovered this scientific healing therapy over 14 years ago, I was managing a pharmaceutical company in Bangkok and I did not believe in all this stuff… but, then I saw that it somehow helped people even if I did not understand then, how or why…
Before taking the Asian Bio-Energetics Course, we always recommend to have a diagnostic and treatment session to enable you to experience this wonderful energy.
Language: We prefer to do the training
in English but do speak Dutch, French, Thai and German.
The Bio-Digital O-Ring Test (BIDORT)
we use in ABET is a muscle test developed at the university of
Kyoto in Japan. You will find summaries of BIDORT research papers
on Internet. Just search as BIDORT JAPAN.
In ABET, we also use a Craneo-Sacral therapy
in a very effective way, which is taught during the Advanced Levels.
Generally speaking, ABET training is a challenge
on the educational, physical, emotional and spiritual level but
the results are most wonderful… (smile) and they will change
your life for ever! You first learn how to take care of yourself

Aromatherapy: Making Your Own Essential Oils and Formulas in Chiangmai, Thailand.
We have been using essential oils for over 25 years, just for our comfort and well-being.
A few years ago, we discovered that we can also use these wonderful oils for therapeutic purposes.
As we are growing quite some herbs ourselves, totally organically, we started to make our own essential oils...
Growing and separating Moxa for Aromatherapy
We have been growing Moxa (Artemisia A.) for over 10 years and mainly used the fresh and the ground products to make our own pure moxa rolls.
The next step was logically to actually transform this very useful herb into essential oils.
Moxa Distillation: Chiang Mai, Thailand
Over the past years, we made over 60 distillations and we are delighted with the results.
As we make only small quantities of essential oils for our personal use, we do not sell them but we are happy to show you how to make your own in a 5-day workshop which includes
- an introduction to Aromatherapy, and
- the basic and hands-on training of how make essential oils
Aromatherapy: Lemongrass Day 4
Ginger Distillation: Aromatherapy
For more info, please contact us.
The selection of the herbs used for these distillations will depend on the seasons but we should be able to make at least three distillations in each workshop.
The selected herbs are :
- Artemisia Argiye : this moxa herb is used to treat pain and prevent disease,
- Artemisia Annua : a.o. against malaria as recognized by the WHO,
- Bamboo Leaves and Twigs for respiratory problems and hemorrhoids, dry skin, damaged hair, sweating, fragile bones, and as a make-up base …
- Cinnamon leaves : stimulating, antiseptic, and fungicidal
- Ginger roots (Zingiber O.R.): to improve digestion and energy circulation, and relieve Gallbladder and Liver problems
- Plai roots : for pain management
- Turmeric (Curcuma) roots : to relieve Inflammation, Arthritis, Rheumatism and Skin and Eye problems, and to improve digestion.
- Vetiver roots (Vetiveria zizanoides): to calm the mind and tonify the endocrine system (glands), the immune system and the veins;
- the exotic Etlingera Elatior (Imperial Baston) a.k.a. Torch Ginger for its wonderful Hydrolate
- Soursop leaves : anti-inflammatory.
We do not sell our essential oils, but share them with our students as part of a training hand-out.
We do however, sell the hydrolates of all our products.
Hydrolates are also known as Hydrosols, or Herbal and Floral or Flower waters,
They are gentle, water-based plant extracts that expand the healing, cosmetic, and culinary applications of aromatherapy.
A hydrolate is the condensate water that is left over after extracting essential oils by water or steam distillation. This aromatic water contains the very essence of everything that was in the plant when it was still alive and growing, including some essential oil.
Some of the aromatic and healing parts held within the plant are not captured by the essential oils. This steam condenses back into water, and contains small quantities of essential oil plus many of the water-soluble (hydrophilic) parts of the plant.
Supercharged with more active principles than the essential oil, this ready to use product offers a safe and convenient way to deliver many therapeutic and cosmetic benefits.
Lemongrass: Hydrolate Aromatherapy Class Training
There is simply no substitute for a true hydrolate…
Many 'floral waters' available today have been made with synthetic compounds which have no therapeutic or beautifying qualities.
Others are produced by adding essential oils or absolutes to water by using alcohol or some other type of dispersant or solvent.
The finished product contains essential oil and may have a pleasant fragrance similar to a natural hydrolate but this type of reconstituted product lacks the wealth of vital healing properties present in a true hydrolate.
Remember that many of the plant constituents were dissolved into the water whilst extracting the oil, so they were never present in the essential oil in the first place!
Therefore adding an essential oil to water will never create a product with the same range of healing benefits as a true hydrosol. There is simply no substitute for a true hydrolate…
Take care when buying hydrolates produced from Jasmine or from citrus fruits or flowers that are usually extracted by solvents.
Aroma-therapeutic uses of Hydrolates
Hydrolates can be used for personal care and around the house.
For skincare, Rose, Orange Blossom (Neroli) and Lavender hydrosols are great for hydrating dry skin and cooling hot and sensitised skin.
If you have been out in the sun too long and got burned, Lavender hydrosol is soothing and comforting as well as healing.
Used in the final rinse after shampooing hydrosols help to condition hair and add a shine.
Add it to your favorite fruit juice to give it that extra touch.
For puffy, dark circles under the eyes , a Chamomile hydrolates is great.
Just soak two cotton wool pads with the hydrosol and cover each eye for around 10 minutes for an immediate reduction in puffiness. Regular use can help to reduce this too.
During the summer, hydrolates are perfect to use as a cooling body mist.
The most cooling of all is... Peppermint.
Hydrolates revitalise you when your energies are beginning to flag,
and a few sprays onto a tissue makes a handy wet-wipe for all sorts of applications including babies and grubby children.
Hydrolates are quite safe to use on young children but are better diluted for very young babies.
Hydrolates such as Rose or Neroli can be added to the final rinse water in your washing cycle as well as used as a fragrant linen spray whilst ironing since they smell much nicer than their synthetic counterparts.
Around the house, hydrolates are great to freshen the air instead of using aerosols which are harmful to the environment.
The plant matter used in essential oil distillation imparts a wonderful aroma to the water and also offer therapeutic benefits.
Hydrolates are water soluble, unlike essential oils that should be diluted in oil or creams prior to application to the skin. Hydrolates are much more gentle than their essential oil counterparts and can be used directly on the skin without further dilution.
Hydrolates can be used in place of water in creating natural fragrances, lotions, creams, facial toners and other skin care products.
They can also be added to the bath and used on their own as a light cologne or body spray.
They can even be added to finger bowls for elegant, romantic dinners.
Examples of commonly available hydrolates are rose, roman chamomile, neroli and lavender.
We believe that only true hydrolates are best for therapeutic reasons and we sell only these.
You will find a lot of hydrolates with high contents of various kinds of alcohol which is usually not necessary. Unfortunately, some producers are tempted to use preservatives in hydrolates to keep them fresh longer. We don’t.
Hydrolates are easily used on their own or added to other products - simple skin care!

12) Can I buy any books through the College?
13) What about assessment? Will I have to sit for lots of written exams?
1) Q: What are the entry requirements for your courses?
A: our entry requirements for the ABET training are adequate English understanding and a real desire to help others, but your life experiences and dedication are also important.
Regardless of your educational qualifications, you will be considered on the basis of your work and life experience.
Although the average age of our students is between 35 to 40, we have qualified students well outside that age range, the oldest being 69 years old.
We select our students on an equal opportunities basis: students are selected for their suitability as individuals and not for their membership of any particular group.
2) Q: I am an overseas student, is there anything else I need to consider?
A: When you have an offer of a place on our courses it is your responsibility to organise your tourist visa (at the Thai Embassy or Consulate), your accommodation in Chiangmai and your transport before the start of training.
If English is not your first language you will need to convince us that you are capable of undertaking this training in English because you will need to take a lot of notes.
Please note that accommodation expenses at local (clean) guesthouses amount to approx. 5000 THB per month (approx. 100 Euros or 160 US$ and that food expenses (without alcohol) would be no more than double this amount per month especially if you eat Thai food.
3) Q: Can I get any financial help with the course fees?
A: Yes, although we are not a state-funded organisation, we do provide a deferred payment system for those students that find the total course fees to be a challenge.
We usually require a minimum deposit of 20,000 THB. The balance can be settled by regular installments over the next 12 months.
4) Q: Who teaches the courses?
A: The ABET training is given by Cory Croymans-Plaghki who is the founder of the Asian Healing Arts Center, and has over 14 years of intense practice and teaching experiences.
You will find that Cory’s knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject goes a long way towards producing the approachable, stimulating atmosphere that students can appreciate.
Graduates tell us that this opportunity to access the teachers' combined wisdom and skills is invaluable to them in developing their own approach to practice.
To find out more about Cory, check out the website on the heading ABOUT US.
The Reiki trainings are given by several teachers.
5) Q: I still need to earn a living during the training. Is this possible?
A: Sorry, this is not possible in Thailand where Work Permit Regulations are rather stringent.
ABET courses are normally given only twice a year during a period of 2 months each. Study consists of lectures, clinical and practical experience, and daily home study of several hours. We teach from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm, Clinical sessions, however, are often run outside these hours.
6) Q: What do you teach?
A: The full ABET training consists of a total theoretical training of 120 hours plus at least 30 hours of clinical practice or observation.
ABET will help you to diagnose health problems in yourself and others
and make the appropriate recommendations for minor life style change
to achieve major life quality improvements.
You will learn how to diagnose, how to identify, use and combine about 60 acupuncture points as well as the practical use of magnets, piezo’s, moxa and your own hand (which is still the most perfect tool given to you by the Creator).
Whichever tool you use, you would take into account your patient’s physical condition and their constitution, as well as their emotional responses. We go step by step.
This description highlights only a small number of ways of using ABET but, if you think of it as a toolbox, what is important is to be able to use all the tools in your toolbox skillfully.
In its authentic form, ABET uses many tools, as and when they are called for and without conscious separation. This, therefore, is how we teach them, and you will be fully equipped to practice all of them.
For a more detailed list of the topics, please refer to the attached ABET Class Syllabus.
7) Q: Is the Patient/Practitioner relationship important?
A: We believe that this relationship is of vital importance. You will be encouraged to develop a deep understanding of your patients and of your own practice through sharing your observations and reflections and through receiving one-to-one guidance. You will learn how to use your new knowledge and skills to make good and effective relationships with patients. This adaptation of ancient wisdom to modern-day relationships is exciting and inspirational even to those already experienced in working with people.
You will learn how to focus your treatment on the original cause of the health problems and encourage your patients to change some of their lifestyles as required by their health condition.
In the process, you will learn a great deal about yourself, and this self-understanding will be woven back into your practice as increased skill and understanding of the patient.
8) Q: Will I change as a person?
A: Without a doubt.
You may find that your work on the ABET and Reiki trainings brings up personal issues that need your attention.
We encourage and support you in this work, as we often find that personal development goes hand in hand with your evolution into a self-aware and effective practitioner.
9) Q: Will I be able to make a living when I graduate?
A: Potential students often ask this question - for obvious reasons!
We encourage our students to work out exactly what they want and to go for that: a very high proportion succeed.
We believe that if you continue to focus strongly and talk enthusiastically to people about what you do, your practice will thrive.
We recognise that perhaps one of the most difficult times for our students is when they leave and begin to practice.
To address this we have an excellent “after sales service” which is only an e-mail away.
We provide just the right amount of hand-holding and, by the time our students leave us, they are delighted with their independence and confident about their competence.
As for the financial income you may generate, we ask you to think carefully about how much money is “enough” for you.
10) Q: What is the government’s view of Chinese medicine?
A: In more and more western countries, the Health Ministries are working with the acupuncture and herb professions to establish a system of legal regulation that will safeguard the public interest.
We welcome this because it will mean a well-deserved increase in credibility.
However, keep in mind that neither in ABET nor in Reiki, do we prescribe any herbs or perform any body invasion procedures (like with acupuncture needles).
11) Q: I have covered part of TCM training elsewhere, can I claim exemption?
A: The short answer is sorry but no.
We do not teach TCM but ABET, which may use the TCM basics but is not TCM.
We nevertheless like to receive a copy of your academic record and life experience.
12) Q: Can I buy any TCM books through your organisation?
A: Sorry, no we do not offer this service. As a matter of fact, we prefer that you do not read any books about TCM, which may only confuse you when you are training with us.
13) Q: What about assessment? Will I have to sit lots of written exams?
A: ABET is a practical skill and, where appropriate, we teach and assess your work practically and daily. For example, a point location class is taught by marking points on real bodies, usually your own or those of your classmates!
You will also be assessed practically and are only taught in small groups with close supervision.
Likewise, when you are in clinical environment, you will be taught and assessed in a very practical way.
A more theoretical unit, such as Chinese Medicine Theory, is taught in a more lecture-based format and is assessed using a basic written exam and projects during and after the training.
We always tailor the assessment to suit the subject being learnt.

Organic Compost Making Classes
If you have a lot of garden refuse and you want to make your own beautiful compost like this,
Compost before grinding
Compost after grinding.
During one day of training. we can teach you how to make this compost within 2 months, with very little labour cost and without having to shred your material first or turn your compost heap regularly.
Tuition costs are 1500 Baht per person for a minimum of 3 participants
or 4000 Baht for one-on-one training
These tuition fees which support our charity activities, include a vegetarian lunch and a detailed training manual.
These Classes are given regularly at our Reiki Center in Hangdong or at your own location if you have at least 4 pick-up trucks of garden refuse. Please contact us for more details.
To support our project, you can buy our sieved Pyramid organic compost at 150 Baht per bag of 10 kilos.
You can also buy the wonderful organic rice which we receive from the organic farmers in exchange for the free compost we gave them when planting their rice.
With the Maejo Pyramid Compost system, we make a layered pile of 2.5 meter wide, 1.5 meter high, and at least 4 meter long to get one ton of excellent compost within 2 months.
Main Advantages of this Thermophilic composting
- the high temperatures will kill diseases that adapted to live around human body temperature.
- You can make this compost anywhere without using electricity as long as you have access to water.
- You do not have to turn-over your compost pile but only water it every day for 2 months to facilitate faster decomposition.
Compost that stays at 50°C (122°F) for 24 hours will be safe to use to grow food.
A temperature of 46°C (115°F) will kill pathogens within a week.
At 62°C (143.6°F) it will kill pathogens within one hour.
The Heat-loving bacteria that make compost need oxygen. To achieve this, you can pile in some coarse materials like hay when building the compost pile.
This will create little pockets of air, or you can make some holes in the pile with pipes or sticks every 10 days, fill it with water and close the holes again.
With this technique and this size, you will get about 1 ton of excellent compost that contains
N P K = 1.5 - 0.5 - 0.5
(Nitrogen, Potassium, Kieserite),
as well as minor ingredients like Calcium, Magnesium, Boron, Molybdenum and others which :
- help plants to grow,
- will soften the soil
- and allow plant roots to grow and seek their own food.
The main fertilizer farmers now use is Urea which contains just nitrogen but this is harmful for the ecology.
What is Compost (/?k?mp?st/ or /?k?mpo?st/) is organic matter that has been decomposed and recycled as a fertilizer and soil improvement.
It is a key ingredient in organic farming.
The process of composting simply requires making a pile of wetted organic matter (leaves, "green" food waste) and waiting for the materials to break down into humus after a period of weeks or months.
Modern composting methods use a multi-step, closely monitored process with measured inputs of water, air, and carbon- and nitrogen-rich materials.
The Pyramid Compost system from Maejo University in Chiangmai, Thailand
This Pyramid Compost system which we use to make Dindee organic compost has been developed by Professor Teerapong Sawangpanyanggool at Maejo University in Chiangmai in 2009.
This Pyramid system is by far the easiest and fastest way to make compost, involving very little labour and time and generating an excellent, nutrient rich compost with a pleasant earthly smell within two months.
The objective of this Pyramid system is to:
- reduce the high labour cost as traditional systems require turning the composting material every three days, to make compost.
- the field burning which affects the air quality and thereby the health of the people living in it.
- the processing time : it normally takes 6 months to 1 year to make compost
- Global warming from open burning
This stopped farmers to make compost themselves.
So they bought the chemical fertilizer as it takes less time and would therefore be cheaper.
But it is more dangerous for the ecology.
The Pyramid compost is more environment friendly and will strengthen the plants to fight off attacks from bugs etc.
We also want to avoid the harm form vermicomposting which uses food scraps and human faeces which may contain some diseases that may not be killed by the old compost technique.
Ingredients can be : Weed, Grass cuttings, wood chips and sawdust, mushroom pods, corn stalks, or any garden refuse can be used for thermophilic compost piles.
USAGE : Compost is rich in nutrients and used in gardens, landscaping, horticulture, and agriculture.
The compost itself is beneficial for the land, especially as a soil conditioner, a fertilizer, addition of vital humus or humic acids, and as a natural pesticide for soil.
In ecosystems, compost is used for erosion control, land and stream reclamation, wetland construction, and as landfill cover.
Organic ingredients for composting can also be used to generate biogas through anaerobic digestion. Anaerobic digestion is fast overtaking composting in some parts of the world (especially central Europe) as a primary means of downcycling waste organic matter.

Free Compost for Rice Project in Chiangmai
During these last few months, we have all seen the political conflicts in Thailand.
The farmers are now really suffering as the government did not pay them for the rice they bought.
The next planting season has started and the farmers in our Huaysaai district have no money to buy what they need. They will end up being more indebted…
As a farmer’s daughter and community activist, I really feel for them and want to help them.
How can I support our community farmers as I do not have millions of Baht and little power.
I am the president of Community Savings Fund but we have less than a million Baht which is not enough to help the farmers in my community and we don’t know when or if the government will pay them. This is a lot of pressure for everyone.
For a long time, I have been a consultant for the Organic Farmers Group and during the past four years, with the support from Maejo University, I have been making a great quality organic compost using organic garden refuse, rice husks and dried cowdung.
This has considerably helped to reduce open burning in my community.
Last year, I started a new project to supply our free organic compost to the organic rice farmers in exchange for a share of future rice crops on condition that farmers do not use any chemicals on their fields.
This season, I received over 200 kgs of excellent quality black rice and Jasmine brown rice.
Now, I want to sell these wonderful products to finance the next production of compost.
This way I can continue to support the farmers who do not burn their fields and do not use chemicals. And I can continue to sell their rice while they focus on growing it.
Our prices are very reasonable for this excellent quality:
- 60 baht per kilo for Jasmine brown rice, and
- 70 baht per kilo for black rice.
This does not include the delivery cost which is payable upon receipt and will depend on the quantity ordered...
If you want to help Thai organic farmers, please buy their rice.
Help us to reduce the chemicals in the rice fields.
